»The perfect file for line art, or vectored art is .ai. That’s Adobe Illustrator at least version 7.0. We are PC-based so if you are using Mac attach a copy in .eps format. It is essential that you first convert all the type to outlines.

»Be sure that each attachment has a different name.

»A significant amount of preparation work must be done on every file. For high end photographic work, a reference image is essential, a color proof, or offset printed piece.

SIZING

Please submit all files at the size you wish them to be printed. If you are unsure of what size might be appropriate, our customer service representatives and in-house artisits will be glad to help you decide. Generally, full front or back prints are between 10 and 12 inches wide by any height up to 14 inches. Left chest prints are generally 2 1/2 to (and never more than) 4 inches wide, and sleeve prints are usually 2 to 3 inches wide. Sizing is a matter of taste so these are not to be taken as strict guidelines. We are capable of printing as large as 14 by15 inches, call regarding any larger sizes.

MEDIA and TRANSMISSION

»Art submitted via e-mail is preferred.

»Electronic transfer is an easy and convenient way to send your files.

»Use of a compression utility like StuffIt or Unzip is not needed.
